Bottlecap Truck

We went to the library one day and parked next to this Truck. This person took a lot of time collecting and creating this thing. His theme covers every inch of the truck. Also there were numerous stuffed animals on the dash. Awesome!!

Fun Photos

Here are a few photos that Chet has taken on his phone over the last little while.

First, here are the boys asleep. Cooper decided to take make a bed and take a nap on my cedar chest at the foot of my bed. Love the arms.

Beckham's Binki bowl (which we no longer need) has become a hat!

Cooper sitting on a rock outside of the Lamborghini store. He asked Dad to take a picture of him on the rock. Our little model.

Ward Split

As some of you know our ward is huge. We have 40 nursery kids (broken up into 4 nurseries), 26 of those kids will go to sunbeams in January. Today our ward split. They split our Providence community into two groups. When they were explaining the new boundaries we were so confused as to which ward we go to until they called our good friend Todd as the ward clerk in the new ward. Since we are two doors down we figured we go with him. Unlike most people we are excited that our new ward will meet at 1:00pm instead of 9. Then we don't have to rush in the morning. We are expecting that we will be able to get to know more of our ward members. I know that is only big news for us but that is what is going on in our lives.

Swim Lessons

Last week we finished up our first session of Swim Lessons. Both of the boys received a ribbon for completing their lessons. They were so excited! We are now moving on to session 2 and Beckham finally decided that he is "going to be brave". And sure enough he has not cried since the decision was made. Both of the boys learned a lot the first session and I expect that they will learn even more by the end of next week when session 2 is over. Miss Tara said Cooper should be swimming the short length of the pool. As for now they both can swim for as long as they can hold their breaths. Beckham and I went swimming the other day and he loved showing me his skills. He even wanted to go to the bottom of the pool to get a ring. It did not seem right pushing a two year old down to the bottom of the pool. None the less, he came right back up with the ring and a big smile. Cooper is now learning to do side breathing. It is challenging for him so when we go swimming at home he does not even want to get out of the shallow end. We love spending time at the pool. Thank goodness for swimming lessons.

Cooper's Birthday

Cooper turned 4 on the 16th. He had an exciting couple of days. We had his first little b-day party on Friday 15th with a few friends from the ward. He chose a Spiderman theme, we did a few little games and made some spider hats. The kids had a great time.

Then on Saturday we had a BBQ with our family members that could come. For the Glover's side we were celebrating a lot of B-day's and G-ma/G-pa Glover's anniversary. Uncle Cole provided two pinata's which Cooper and Beckham had a blast trying to brake open.

After the BBQ we headed back to our house for Cooper's present. We decided to get our adventurist a battery operated 4-Wheeler. He was so excited! Everyday since all he wants to do is ride his 4-Wheeler.

Mother's Day Weekend

Mother's day weekend was great. Chet took the boys Friday night to a fathers and sons camp out so I had the night to myself. I have not slept that well in a long time. But of course my eyes popped open at 6:15. Oh well, I got up and went shopping. When I came home Chet and the boys were back and had displayed 2 dozen Roses and a very pretty necklace on the kitchen island. Sunday, after church we had a relaxing day together. Hope everyone else had a great day too. I love being a mother and I am so grateful for our two beautiful boys. I would not want to be anywhere but home trying to keep up with those crazy boys. I am so grateful for my mom and everything that she has done for me and my family. She has always been so supportive whether it was attending a game or helping me with having a baby I can always count on my mom to be there. I am very blessed with a wonderful Mother-in-law. I could not have asked for a better mother-in-law, she is so sweet and such a great example of giving pure love. Happy Mother's day to all!!

Swim Lessons

With the summer just about here we thought that we should sign the kids up for swim lessons. Just thought I would share a few photos of Cooper and Beckham at their swim lessons. Stephanie coined Beckham's swim diaper/swimsuit as a padded speedo. We know he looks awesome! Beckham cries just about the whole time so I am not sure how he is learning but he is. After his nearly 20 minutes of crying he gets out and says he had fun. HAHA. Cooper has had a good time and is learning to be more comfortable in the pool he can swim for about 3-5 feet by himself. My little fish!!

Bike Rides

Cooper is getting to be such a big guy. He loves to ride his bike and scooter. This week he has wanted to ride his bike to the community club house (about a 1/4 mile) just about every time we leave the house. Good way to get expend some of that energy we all know he has.
