Quincey 3 months

Quincey is now 3 months. She is growing too fast! She gained 3 lbs this month! I pulled out her three month clothes and at this rate of growth I hope she will be able to wear them all before she grows out of them. Quincey does not sleep through the night yet but she goes right back to sleep after I feed her. It seems like she should not need to eat twice in the middle of the night anymore so maybe one day I will be brave and have her cry it out. Probably not though I cannot take the crying. Quicney is such a happy baby, she is smiling, laughing or talking all the time. She likes to kick and move her arms. She loves to grab my hair. I am about ready to shave it all off cuz she pulls on it so hard. She loves the boys too which is a good thing since they are always in her face! We love her very much!

I realize that it is nearly one month past Christmas but I am finally posting our Christmas adventures. The kids and I drove up to Grandma and Grandpa Hamilton's house (Layton, UT) a week before Christmas, then Chet joined us on the 23rd. We were able to go to our family Christmas party before picking Chet up from the airport. At the family party, there is a talent show, a improv version of the Nativity staring some of the cousins, we do a women's only ornament exchange, and of course Santa stops by for a visit. The Santa that comes to our party is the REAL Santa. He has come to our party since I can remember. Up until a few years ago Mrs. Clause came with him. Most of the other time at Grandma's we played with cousins, Grandma and Grandpa read stories to the kids, we sang, we played games and of course we ATE and ATE!! We had a great Christmas! Being with family is the way we should spend all the holidays! We received great presents and are so thankful for all the effort that Grandma and Grandpa put into having such a memorable Christmas. Most of all we are thankful for the birth of our Savior and for his willingness to come to earth and suffer for us so that one day we will be able to return to him. I hope that we always remember why we celebrate Christmas and that we will not get lost in the commercialism of the holiday season. Especially now that Christmas is over, it is important for us to remember to keep that holiday spirit every day. Hope everyone else had a great holiday! Merry Christmas!!
