First Cast!

It took us six and a half years but we finally had a broken arm. Cooper is the lucky winner of this award. He was sliding down the stair rail and his arm got caught. It was just a small break in fact it would have healed on it's own had we not taken him in. But after more than half a day of him babying his arm I thought we should take him to the doctor. Our friend said,Usually when you see kids with casts you are like OH NO what happened? But when I saw Cooper I thought OK I can see that."
So here we are three weeks later and we are about to take it off. I am sure that Cooper is excited it be able to shower, rollerblade, actually start ice skating lessons, hold a pencil normally and many other things we take for granted.
First cast down, I am sure that there are more to come with our crazy active boys and Quincey is not too far behind.

Christmas Trip

We went to Layton to Grandma and Grandpa's house for Christmas. We made this trip a quick one. We went up on Thursday night and drove home Monday. Great times were had. We saw Santa at the Firth Family Christmas Party. The Firth side (Grandpa's moms side)has gotten so big that we have to hold it in the church now. It is so fun to see cousins that I rarely get to see. We played games at Grandma and Grandpa's the favorite of which is the Dice game. Grandpa wraps little presents in layers and layer of newspaper, ducktape more newspaper, another box etc. and then we try to be the one to get to the present while everyone else is rolling the dice hoping for doubles. It is a very loud and fun! Of course we got a visit from Santa. The night before while saying bedtime prayers, Cooper asked that he would not get any clothes from Santa. Needless to say, the boys loved most of their presents minus the few clothes. I did not get very good pictures. Sorry!
