Opperation: Bye Bye Binki

Beckham is almost 2 1/2 and he loves his Binky. In September, when I was out of town, Chet was brave enough to take Beckham's blanket and Binky away (unless it is nap/bed time). That has worked out great. But now we are worried about Beckham's teeth, they are starting to pull forward. We on Thursday when I got his Binky bowl (yes when he sleeps he has a bowl with a few Binky's so he can get one in the middle of the night)so when I got his bowl there was only one Binky which was "broken" (we had cut a slit in it). Beckham was confused and said he needed a new Binky cuz this one is broken. Chet and I looked all over but wouldn't you know we just could not find one. We tried to prepare ourselves for a long night of crying. But Beckham was fine, he took longer to fall asleep and kept saying he needed a new Binky. He woke up once and the new Binky was the first thing he said. We were able to tell him we will find one later. So last night we thought for sure he would be tired of the "were looking" thing. Again he was fine and he slept all through the night. I don't know how long he will be calm about this. But for now were are calling this a success!!
